Dr Syed Farrukh Shah is a highly experienced UK-trained Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist with extensive experience across the UK and Dubai. He holds a CCT in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Internal Medicine, specialist MRCP accreditation in Endocrinology and Diabetes, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
He completed his postgraduate and advanced specialist training across several major teaching and tertiary hospitals in the Greater Manchester region. He subsequently worked for a number of years as a Consultant Endocrinologist at a UK teaching hospital before relocating to Dubai. Dr Shah also holds an MBA in International Healthcare Management from the University of Cumbria, reflecting his interest in clinical leadership and service innovation.
His expertise includes complex type 1 and type 2 diabetes, diabetes technology, obesity and metabolic health, thyroid disease, pituitary, adrenal and parathyroid disorders, and hormonal conditions affecting men and women. He combines specialist expertise, modern technology and comprehensive cardio-renal-metabolic risk assessment to deliver individualised, evidence-based care focused on meaningful and sustainable health outcomes.
