Dr. Idalys graduated with honors from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana in 2012, followed by completing a fellowship in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. She has been a Specialist Cardiologist since 2018. Dr. Idalys is a member of both the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology, and she passed the Certification Exam of the American College of Cardiology in December 2023.
Guided by a passion for cardiovascular research and preventive care, Dr. Idalys has a special interest in heart failure, cardiovascular diseases in special populations such as athletes and women, and advanced echocardiography with strain imaging analysis. She is dedicated to staying current in the field of cardiology and regularly participates in international conferences and professional meetings to enhance her knowledge and skills.
